Versital is a designers dream product
You know you can have anything
any shape, any colour
so if you've got a good design head
it's perfect.
The unique selling point about Versital is
well its in the name really, Versatility
its a very Versatile product.
Absolutely every process
in the manufacture is by hand.
So you know when we talk about
still being able to obtain a hand-made,
hand-finished British product,
this is it.
And probably one of the
most exciting things that we do
is we bring in raw materials in bags,
and large barrels,
so when one of our customers
orders a shower tray or panels,
or top, whatever
its actually manufactured
individually for them.
Really the applications for it are only
as limited as much as somebody’s
imagination for the product.
It can be used in bathrooms,
other domestic situations
and commercial.
There are four ranges within
the Versital colour pallet,
In total there are over
130 different colours
that you can select from
so there is all kinds of combinations,
all kinds of things you can match with,
and things that you can contrast with.
If you look at this particular
top that we've got here
this is in the reflect range,
this colour is called 'Coco Loco',
and there are 12 colours
in the reflect range.
They're very glamorous,
very sparkly,
very much a statement.
The majority of the showrooms that we deal with
are happy to design their own bathrooms anyway
but there are other bathroom centres
that will ask for my opinion
and we can help them on the design side with that
where we can come from a basic floor plan
and design all the elements
that are needed from there.
You know we can make hexagonal trays,
round trays,
diamond shaped trays, whatever
we can do that.
We also have a range of what we would call
standard items
so shower trays that suit standard areas.
So its the perfect product
for a bathroom area
again because of the hygienic qualities,
there are no seams, no joints,
nothing to catch any dirt
and a lot of people assume
because its hand made, its luxury,
its going to be really expensive,
in terms of other solid surface materials,
and there are a number of them around,
its much more economic.
We still visit and see installations
where the product has been used
15 to 20 years ago
it looks as good as new.
