Hello and welcome to another episode of Mundane Life
As you can see I have a package here and i noticed on the web that they have these
things called open boxes or you know people open up stuff
so I figured hey what the heck this one is a fun little one
as any adult I tend to like things like sports or those kinds of things
but I also have a little child in me that like toys and one of those toys happens to
be Legos so on the internet they had this post on Facebook
that combined two of my favorite things as you can see someone combined the Chicago
Blackhawks with Legos so this is Versteeg
so I got a few of them and here we got Hossa
don’t know with reflection you guys can see that
I got Duncan Keith so that’s three
they were about like 12 dollars a peace there’s my four guy Jonathan Toews
the only think I wish they would have I wish they had a Patrick Sharp
they didn’t have a Patrick Sharp let go ahead and see
of the four let’s open Keith you know
yeah lets open up Keith so he has his little A on there
this company is Oyo it’s right there on the bottom
it’s O Y O you can see there site is oyosportstoys.com
they do football and basketball
and some collegiants package on this is pretty well done
these are authorized by the national hockey league players association
and you can see it has the NHL seal of authenticity right there
see let’s open that up lets see what’s all in here
so we’ve got the player himself and he has the typical Lego head
feet looks like it’s little bit different on
the bottom there not sure if it how if that would actually
work on a real lego base I’ll have to check that out
he’s got the Blackhawks logo on the back is his name and number
comes with a hockey stick looks like there is a base here
let me pull that out so he’s got a base
so I can stand him on his base that looks pretty easy
and these things as you can see from t my finger
are like regular Lego size 2 inches its got a place here for the stick
looks like I can put it into both hands OH
oh shoot his arm came off
that’s easy enough it snaps back in let’s put the stick in his hands
he’s got his stick and then right here is his helmet
looks like the visor not sure if the visor
yep the visor is in here these things are so small
I’m going to grab it here so there’s his visor
lets see how easy that is to snap on there or not
there’s a little hole there right here on the side
let’s put that in there and on the other side
that’s kind of nifty the visor goes up or down
so that way like when they are in a brawl you can go
UHHHH UUHHHH I’m going to get you
ssscccca sscaaa sccaa lets see what else is in here
oh this is cool I’m going to dump this out
there are three more pieces in here there’s the puck right there
and his skates so I guess
the puck has a little divot in it so what I’m guessing is
that is explains the little piece on the hockey stick right here
so if I want I can take and put the puck and I’m guessing I can put the puck on the
stick right here oh it goes like this
it slides into the end there UUUHHH that’s not so easy
oh it goes on top DUH
it just slides over there we goes
now you can see puck’s now on the stick if I take him off his base
these little things can go on the bottom and there he goes he now has his skates
lets get the stick in his hand I’m not sure what the proper direction is
here to be honest I’m guessing it needs to be this way if
I want to see the puck let me arrange that
you can see I’m a little awkward there we go
anyway you get the general idea UHHHH I cut off his arm again
its Legos its not a big deal it will snap back in
there you have it oh this is interesting too
I didn’t realize this in the base
the little base has little slits there it looks like I can put him flat on or
or I can slide the skates OH yeah that’s cool
I can slide the skates right into the little wholes of the base
her can be on his skates with the stick in hand
ready to go on my desk at work
to support my favorite team in Hockey AHHHH you get the general idea there
there’s your stick like I said I got 4 of the team there are
actually 6 available like I said for the price they are a little bit more than
regular Legos they were like 12 dollars a piece
it was like 48 bucks plus shipping shipping was easy
it took them about a week to fulfill the order they didn’t take out the money right away
which was kind of an odd thing but you can see there’s
put that right up there you can get a general idea
I’m going to open them all these guys up arrange them and play with them a little bit
there’s an exciting moment thanks again everybody for joining
and we’ll talk to you on the next Mundane Life
