Hello, folks! This is Radio Rimbaud. Today we gonna start our weekly musical meeting.
I'm Lenny C. I'm a guitar player from the Missisipi's Delta, or the Nile's or the Ganje's one...
Each week i'll propose you a 10minutes stripe dedicated each time on a different author from the rock history.
I gonna open this space presenting Sid Barrett, one of the reference point of psychedelic canterbury and of the whole rock music.
I'll play you two songs from his late artistic period, the so called after PinkFloyd period. The first one is called "Long On", and it's taken from his first solo album: The Madcap Laughs
Have a good time
LENNY C. "Long On" (Sid Barett, "The Madcap Laughs", Jan. 1970, Harvest/Emi)

The second song I propose you this evening is "Opel". It is a "naked" song. The only version we had is played just by a guitar, and it has been recorded in the late 60s. I find it very charming. La folie is beauty, with Barrett.
