>> Lynne Klippel: Hi. It's Lynne Klippel here from Business Building Books. I have
a quick tip for you today.
My presentation for the Digital Publishing Summit is all about the words that you use
in writing your digital product and how you can use those words strategically to really
bond with your readers so that they are excited and eager to read everything you write and
to work with you in your business.
You've all heard that old saying that you need to get your customers to know you, to
like you, and to trust you. Well, those things are very true for authors as well.
There's two additional steps that you need. You need to have authors believe what you
say and then revere you enough that you become the trusted expert in your area, their go
to person for information and assistance.
I'm going to give you a quick tip today about how you can increase the belief that
your readers will have in what you have to say. There's a lot of ways to do this, but
the quickest and easiest thing you can start doing right away is to begin teaching your
material before your book is published.
This will help you in two ways. First of all, it will give you the opportunity for you to
test drive your information with other people and see where they stumble so that you can
tweak your material and make it even more strong in the difficult parts of your plan.
You'll also be able to collect some feedback and some great success stories. Feedback and
success stories results from your information are extremely believable. Consider how you
can easily start to test your material to increase the belief of your readers by teaching.
You can do a free seminar at your local community center or library. You can do teleclasses.
You can have small groups in your home come and work on a portion of your information.
The only limit you have is your creativity.
This is Lynne Klippel from Business Building Books. I hope you've enjoyed this little
tip and preview of my presentation, Climbing the Ladder to Recurring Revenue and Readership.
I can't wait to share the rest of the tips with you at the Digital Publishing Summit.
We'll see you soon.
