Ab straps are for training the abdominal oblique and the transversus muscles.
Because ab straps are a suspension training tool, they use abs to stabilize the body.
If used properly the result is a stronger and more defined core.
Each ab strap is secured to the pull-up bar by a stainless steel carabiner.
To attach the carabiner to the pull-up bar unscrew the round fitting counter-clockwise.
The fitting will slide down and allow the clasp to open.
Put both ab straps onto the pull-up bar
to lock the carabiner close
slide the round fitting back into its original position turning it clockwise.
Check that the carabiner is locked before using.
With ab straps about shoulder width apart, put each upper arm into the strap and let
yourself hang until your body becomes still.
This is your starting position.
To get the best ab workout your set should contain leg raises, crunches and pikes.
Also remember to keep the body as quiet and controlled as possible, letting abs do the work
not the back or hip flexors.
