I got an email from a new member, Tamer, saying, "I don't know if you care, but you keep pronouncing
Chicago incorrectly." Apparently I say "Chicago", and the correct pronunciation is "Shicago".
Please give me a break. English is my second language. I don't even... I'm bound to make
some mistakes, ladies and gentlemen. Please take it easy on me.
Rick Santorum saying abortions are too traumatizing for women that have been ***. "I think Santorum
is traumatizing to intelligent people."
And, "Less government for all, unless you're a woman. Rick Santorum's point of view."
On the gay teen killed in Michele Bachmann's hometown, "She doesn't want to talk about
homosexuality because it's too close to the bone. She knows her husband is gay." Lot of
speculation about Marcus Bachmann. No evidence that I'm aware of so far. Any you know of,
Louis?
Louis: Nope.
David: "'Everything I need to know about life I learned in Iowa.' Michele Bachmann's quote.
You gotta love those family values."
And, "I hate these so-called Christians that think they're doing God's work. They just
cherrypick rules out of the Bible about what people want to hear and ignore the rest. Why
do these politicians preach about their religious beliefs when church and state, religion and
state, are separate? Rest in peace, Marcelus." Well, it's an incredibly sad story, and as
we know, Louis, the line between church and state increasingly blurred in this country
for many, many years now.
Louis: Right.
David: And on the topic of are French millionaires more patriotic than American millionaires,
based on them calling for a higher one-time tax on the rich in France to save and maintain
social services in France: "Patriotism is caring about whether people were born within
imaginary lines, aka, the borders of our countries." For many people, that is patriotism. Absolutely.
And, "All patriotism is ridiculous. I owe allegiance to the best interests of humanity.
I don't care what country you're from, I want to help you." And...
Louis: A lot of dismissal of patriotism.
David: A lot of dismissal of patriotism. And, "Of course the French millionaires are more
patriotic. Americans are more greedy, it's me, me, me all the time." Well, I think we
can find greedy people probably in every country in the world, Louis, don't you think?
Louis: Right.
David: On the bonus show, how much is too much to make one building wheelchair accessible?
We'll discuss it, as well as the top Sarah Palin conspiracies, and is it OK for a school
to dump a masters student from a therapy program because he lacks empathy and may not be a
good therapist? It's a good question. All of that and plenty more we'll be talking about
on the bonus show.

The 9/11 10th Anniversary Special is coming up. So much planned for it, Louis, that I
can't even begin to tell you. So I won't, you'll just have to wait until 9/11.
Louis: Fair.
David: Back with a brand new show in just a few days.
Announcer: The David Pakman Show at www.DavidPakman.com.
