I would like to say that if you are having a problem with your TV, be sure to check the
model number first. You will see the model number and serial number over in a box like
this. The model number and serial number are very important, because that is what will
help you to identify what parts are needed to repair your TV. If you are having a problem
with your TV, please feel free to comment in the comment section below this video or
send us a message on YouTube with your TV model number and the problem that you are
having. This way we will be able to help you diagnose the problem and suggest a fix.
So the first thing you are going to want to do is to make sure that you have unplugged
your TV from any power source and that you have also grounded yourself properly. Next
you will want to take out the screws in the TV that are holding the back cover on.
Next we are going to take a look at the logic board, this board can also be referred to
as the main logic control board, the control board and the logic main.
The logic board is connected to the main board and address buffers via flat-ribbon cables
and can sometimes be hidden underneath the main board. One symptom that could be a logic
control, is if you have no picture on the screen, another would be if your image has
lines or defects in it. If the lines are running vertically and they are colored, that means
that it could be the logic control. If the lines are running vertically and they are
black, that means that it is most likely the panel on the TV.
