Hello, it's Jason here from Karpos Media.
I'm excited to begin a new series on our blog designed to help you generate more
sales using your website.
You can submit your site for a public website audit
that will be shown in video on our blog.
For selected sites
I'll identify some problems areas, and provide some quick fixes and recommendations to help
you improve your search rankings,
improve the user experience, and convert more
visits into sales.
Some of the problems I'll be looking at include:
sites with low search rankings,
sites that may have been penalized by Google,
sites receiving untargeted traffic
and situations where visits just aren't converting into sales.
Having a nice looking website is great,
but what if no one sees it?
If your listings on page eight of the search results,
you can expect a very low click through rate.
To drive sales and promote your brand,
your website should have
quality content for both users and search engines;
search-engine-friendly architecture which makes it easy to crawl and index;
links and citations from relevant sources;
and established authority in the eyes of search engines.
Google search ranking algorithms
include hundreds of variables
and I won't be able to explore all of them.
Instead,
I'll look at some of the most important
and easy to change elements
That will help you see better results from your website
Don't worry if you're feeling a bit lost already.
I'll be using plain English and visuals
to identify some of the problems
and solutions.
To get started,
simply visit our website at http://www.karposmedia.com/website-audit/
Read through the submission requirements and fill out the short submission form.
You'll be emailed a copy of your submission for future reference.
After the website audit,
I'll be answering questions that you and other viewers have
and I'll provide recommendations
that will help you see both short-term gains
and long-term improvement.
The earlier you submit your site
the more chances you have to be selected for a website analysis.
Please make sure to read the admission requirements before submitting your site.
If you have any questions, you can post comments on our blog,
Facebook page, or by tweeting @KarposMedia.
That's it for today. Talk to you next time.
