Welcome everyone to,
Let's see today's trailer cinema news is coming up!
An Italian movie wins the 62nd Berlin Film Festival: Golden Bear
goes to “Cesare deve morire” ("Caesar must die") by the brothers Paolo and
Vittorio Taviani while "Diaz," by Daniele Vicari, won the audience award.
It’s been 21 years since Italy was the winner at the Berlinale.
A Golden Bear to the prisoners, who were the main characters
of the docudrama filmed in Rebibbia, based on Shakespeare's tragedy "Julius Caesar".
The film tells the story of a play, set in prison,
under the direction of Fabio Cavalli, who has been working
for years with prisoners on the stage.
Intense and modern thanks to the use of black and white
which emphasizes aggression and tension,
"Caesar must die" in the screening room had ripped the first applause of the critics,
which was definitely a good sign.
In the new movie by Roland Emmerich, Anonymous,
the question of the plot is if Shakespeare is a fraud and his grand masterpieces
were instead written by someone else.
The screenwriter John Orloff has been obsessed by this idea for twenty years,
during which he has tried to make a movie out of it.
He managed to do so with Emmerich's help.
In the story a noble man from Oxford,
Edward De Verne, has written himself the great works of Shakespeare.
That's all for today.
