Aloha. I'm Synneve, the great hair guru, and I'm here teaching you all of my salon secrets.
People are constantly admitting to me that they cut their own fringe. I don't recommend
cutting your own hair but if you are going to, this is the proper way to cut side angle
fringe.
Step 1 -- You'll want to start with wet hair because it's easier to section and control.
Use half of your eyebrow as your guide and part your hair to the side.
Step 2 - Decide how thick you want your fringe and pull the hair you want to cut straight
down. This is about a medium amount. I recommend to start with a small to a medium amount first,
you can always add more later.
Step 3 -- It's a good idea to cut fringe when they are dry so you don't get them too short.
Use a blow dryer and brush to dry the front section straight down and release it to the
side by pulling the brush in the direction you want them to fall.
Step 4 - Use hair clips to pull the other hair out of the way. Make sure you do this
so you don't accidently cut it.
Step 5 - Side Angle Fringe are shorter on one side and longer on the other. So, hold
the hair between your first two fingers and pull to an elevated 45 degree angle opposite
of where you want you it to fall. It's very important, to make sure you pull your hair
over to the opposite side of how you wear it. Position your fingers at a 45 degree angle
and use hair cutting shears to CAREFULLY cut like this. Trust me scissors can be sharp,
so please be careful.
Step 6 - Release the section of hair and voule! Side Angel Fringe! See they go from short
to long and tuck behind your ear.
Remember, it is always best to start with longer fringe first. You can take more off,
you just can't put it back on. To learn more Salon Secrets visit loveinsideout.com. I hope
you like your new fringe and have a great hair day.
