Hi, this is Jon, and in this clip we'll be gluing the threshold. At the bottom of our
door we have have our threshold, and before we install our door we need to put some construction
adhesive underneath the threshold, and that's going to help hold that in place, and that's
also going to help form a water tight barrier. The material I'm going to be using is PL 375,
which is a heavy duty construction adhesive. And what that's going to do underneath the
door, it's going to provide that strong durable bond. In addition, it's water proof, and weather
resistant, so we do get a lot of water it's less likely to get into the house. First I'm
just going to put a nice think coat of my construction adhesive where the threshold
of our door is going to be. And you want to make sure you use plenty because once it's
in there you can't get underneath it anymore. Next we're going to walk our door into place.
And you'll notice I have the door tipped out towards me, and I'm going to position my ends
closest to me in place, and then I'm going to tip the door back where I want it to go.
And then I'm just going to step on the threshold to make sure that it's good and set.
