Voiceover: Its time to decide who goes through to the final audition in Brighton.
Luke: We're just going to phone the contestants now we've got to
break the bad news to one and also the good news to the others.
Hello Richard its Luke and Justin here from the Dream Bears.
Erm, but I'm very sorry you haven't made it through to the next stage.
Justin: This is Rob, the guy who could do the splits!
Hi Rob its Luke and Justin here from the Dream Bears
Hiya!
We've got some bad news for you.
You're going to have to put up with us for a bit longer as
you'll be joining us in Brighton next weekend in the next round!
(Screams down phone)
Tara Rob! OK Bye-bye!
Voiceover: And also through is Ross and also David from 'Four Puffs and a piano'
So now all we have to do is look forward to getting them in shape
Teach them some routines and put them in front of an audience.
Voiceover: And that audience is in Brighton.
We've got our two hopefuls here with us
And we're going to be giving them each one number to do with us
And we're going to gauge the audience reaction
We're also going to see how much they get into it
How we get on with them and how it comes together as one big piece.
Unluckily for us auditionee number three had to drop out he had friends coming down to London to visit.
First stop when we came to Brighton was Cyber Candy
Which does all like sweets and candy from around the world.
And I've already had a 'ding ***' and now I've got melon flavoured space dust!
David: I was giggling actually two weeks ago up in Manchester
Doing a 'corporate' and I was just lying in the hotel afterwards thinking
You know Jonathan Ross's show is coming to an end
I'm kind of looking for other things to do
and I was thinking of other kinds of groups of people I would like to work with
...and these guys just popped into my mind
I go to their website and the first thing I saw as their website opened
...was 'we're looking for new bears' and I thought well crikey that’s just good timing!
Dance has always been part of what I do as a performer
and I love dance. I'm really looking forward to tonight
as long as I don't forget the choreography that will be interesting!
Rob: Well we've come down to Brighton because we're going to be performing at the Komedia Club
Which is going to be so cool I've never been to Brighton before and I'm enjoying it so far its a bit like Devon
apart from there's lots more people!
I love being on stage anyway and to be on stage as my own person
and dancing with some amazingly fun people I think will be cool
and people cheering you like I said before I come from a dance background where people are
ultra skinny and have got no hair or they wax I mean I used to wax my back
I used to wax my chest every six weeks and I think I'm still
embracing the whole cub thing I mean I've never grown a beard before.
Especially made for David I did them with my own fair hands today!
I've got some bits for you now you don't have to use them all
you can say no to any of them.
We’ve got double sided tape for those.
(Laughing)
Short shorts.
I can't get my legs up! Like I need to go down to the splits and need to show them my leg
I need to do a straddle jump and I can't do it in these shorts!
Because they're really quite tight!
We're going to start the night just doing a number between myself and Justin.
just to ease the crowd into it and then we're going to bring the first of the boys on.
The crowd are going to be well lubricated and well up for it by this stage.
Voiceover: First on stage is David.
We're just about to go on I'm pretty nervous!
DJ Anna: Please welcome to the stage contestant number one, David with The Dream Bears!
Give it up for the Dream Bears please!
David: Great fun I loved it I want to do it again!
Voiceover: Next its Rob's turn.
Ladies and gentlemen The Dream Bears with Rob!
Give it up!
I've never seen that before in my life!
Amazing! Absolutely amazing I was just...
Some girl is like 'Hugghh!'
and I was like 'Yeah ***!'
I've got to say I feel really fantastic about how everything went tonight
the boys did us proud. Brilliant they were brilliant they were fantastic
I knew they would be fantastic. they turned it out on the night and sold it
they worked the audience and we couldn't ask for more.
They knew their moves and they just went up there and they had the audience loving it
It was brilliant.
Next its the difficult bit now we've got to look over the tapes
look over the performances and come to a decision.
Voiceover: And who will be the new Dream Bear? Find out in the final episode.
