Hi, I'm Michelle Renee from the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group here in Tampa, Florida.
And on behalf of Expert Village, we're gonna show you how to apply makeup on women of color.
Now, we're gonna do liner. There's a couple of different ways that you could place the
eye liner on. First, the most traditional is with the pencil. The second way is probably
my favorite way is with a liner brush. Notice it's angle, so it fits perfectly in the corner
of the eye. With this you just simply use powder. This gives you a lot of options because
you can use a different colors of eye liner whatever shadows you have available. Today,
I'm just gonna use a simple black liner and I'm gonna use a combination of the two. First,
I'm gonna get my pencil and from the inside corner of Shevon. Hold her eye tont, that
will give you a nice smooth canvas to work with. And from the inside simply sweep the
liner as close to the line as you can get. And we've got our line. Now, that's the pencil.
To help it last a little bit longer and to smudge it a bit. I simply get my liner brush,
dip it in black and go from the inside out. For a more dramatic look, you could use a
color with your liner brush, but for now I'm simply gonna use black. Now, with your liner
brush, with the left over powder. I'm gonna put a little bit in the corner of the eye.
"Look up in the sky." So, I'm gonna get really close to the edge of the lashes. From the
outside in and just sweep across the left over color. And that will gradually fade towards
the middle of the eye and that just gives it a nice soft natural look. For something
more dramatic, you might place the liner in the rims of the eye.
