[TEXT: What advice do you have for young people to have their voice heard?]
[TEXT: Pras Michel, Grammy-winning rap artist]
Pras Michel: Words travel. When you think about Martin Luther King, he didn’t choose to be a civil rights leader.
They called him because a bunch of people got arrested and they just needed someone to come out and speak.
And what he spoke down there resonated throughout the whole town and the country.
And he became that leader.
And so it’s not always going to be easy, because it’s a price to being able to express what you freely think.
But you should speak on, because that’s why we are able to have, in America, the luxuries that we have now.
So it’s very important to be able to voice, you know, what you think and feel and believe what needs to be right.
