Cremation Jewelry - Filling your Cremation Jewelry Keepsake is easy.
We provide every thing you need to do the job right and keep the contents safe.
Step 1, We offer two different type of keepsakes - one is a set screw design and the other
is a threaded bail design. Start by removing the set screw or threaded bail by turning
it counter-clockwise. Step 2, Once you have removed the screw insert
the funnel into the opening of the keepsake and fill it 80 to 90 percent full with fine
cremains. You can use the filling stick to help push the cremains through the funnel
opening. Once you remove the funnel check the keepsake opening and threads to make sure
they are free of cremains. Make sure you do not overfill your keepsake, otherwise the
threaded bail or set screw will not tighten flush to the cremation jewelry.
Step 3 We highly recommend you seal your keepsake permanently. To do this - unscrew the threaded
bail or set screw so that you can see a small portion of the threads. Apply a drop of glue
to the end of the filling stick. Step 4, Now using the filling stick, place
the drop of glue on the threads and quickly re-tighten your threaded bail or set screw.
Step 5, Finally, if your keepsake has a threaded bail, make sure to line up the bail eyelet
so that the keepsake hangs flat against your chest. To ensure that your keepsake sealant
has cured properly please wait for 12 hours before wearing it. For precautionary measures
we do not recommend you wear your keepsake in the water or while taking a shower.
