So Nana, today I would like you to restock this display...
Yes.
It is quite empty.
Ok.
I work at an outdoor shop.
I've been there for about four years.
I'm a visual merchandiser there.
I would like to become a police officer.
That is my goal.
I used to get into lots of fights...
...because people used to pick at me for the way I spoke.
I've got a very 'high-pitched' voice.
I think children can be very...
...they pick up on people's weaknesses...
...and Nana did let the year group pick up on her weakness...
...so her voice was quite squeaky...
...and so therefore she was perhaps with some boys...
...and I'll admit it was more the boys, who were very...
...good at winding her up.
...and she let people push her buttons...
...and because of that, then she was fair game, unfortunately.
It's like watch the entertainment show...
...and Nana could provide a good entertainment.
When it came to my school work, I wasn't that bad.
It was just the fight with these people, picking on me...
...and always, every single day, picking on me.
I'd just had enough.
I think one of the things she did find difficult...
...she was also one of the tallest girls, as well...
...so she could actually, you know, give it some, perhaps to the boys...
...so I think sometimes what she would do is perhaps get a bit physical...
...with the students, which was then when she was brought to my office.
I think I was suspended between 15 and 20 times.
Nana joined the Police Cadet force...
...and we were starting to see the impact it was having in school.
To be honest, I was really surprised to see that impact...
...having an impact on her education as well.
And it was a lovely...you know, it wasn't a normal, traditional...
...route that we'd ever explored before at school.
And so to see the impact, to see her so much happier...
...this is when, I would say, it was a bit like a family...
...having that additional support for her made such a difference.
I was really thrilled.
