Hi! Today we'll make these wonderful paper envelopes
that you can custom to any card making project you're doing
and it'll be super easy!! Stay with me!!
we're going to work with 20 x 20 cm square papers
I chose some origami paper that comes in that size
from Claire Fontaine and it's collection Paper Touch
turn your paper like a rhombus and make some marks at 8 and 9 cm
from the corner in one sense and in the other
make the same marks in the opposite corner... You have to obtain
something like this
join with a ruler the most away marks from the corner
and fold the paper
repeat the same with all the corners and then fold it
very well
now cut the small triangles that appeared in the lines
intersection
fold the bottom tab corner and then cut it
then round the upper tab corner
let's start decorating the envelope
in this case I'm using a Divine Collection paper from Prima
So cut a 10 x 14 cm rectangle
for decorating the back
then cut a 11 x 11 cm square
this is what you need to have
cut the square in the middle to obtain 2 triangles
round the corner's square to stick it on the envelope's
back
round the corners of the bottom triangle and make some marks
where you have to cut
cut the upper corner and stick it
for the upper triangle, round all the corners and glue it
finally glue the sides to close the envelope
I hope you liked this project!
