Make a chain of any amount. the amount is not going to matter as this is just a practice swatch. I am
going to work my first cluster in the 5th chain from the hook. this first amount of chain will count
as a double crochet. we're going to count back one, two, three, four, and in the fifth chain, I am going
to work my first cluster. I am going to start off like a regular double crochet. I am going wrap the
yarn over the hook, leave the reamaing two loops on your hook. Wrap the yarn over put it back through
the loop, wrap the yarn over and pull it back through the loop. Wrap the yarn over, pull it back through
the loop. pull the yarn through two loops. I have three remaining on my hook. Wrap the yarn over and
pull through all three loops and this creates our first cluster. Now I am going to chain two and work
a second cluster in the same chain. Put the hook through the loop, wrap the yarn over, pull it through
the loop, leave the last two loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over, pull through the loop. Wrap the
yarn over, pull through the loop. wrap the yarn over and pull through all three remaining loops. and
I ahve completed my first cluster v stitch. Now I am going to skip two chains and work a cluster v stitch
in the next chain. Chain two and work another cluster stitch in the same chain. I've completed two cluster
v stitches. There are two chains between each stitch. One chain for the actual stitch which makes the
multiple three. So for each cluster you want to add on, you will add on three stitches. I am skipping
two chains and I am going to work my next stitch in the next chain. Chain two. Now I am going to complete
the second part of my stitch. Starting off with the first part of a double crochet. pull through two
loops leave two remaining on the hook. Wrap the the yarn over, put the hook through the loop wrap the
yarn over pull through two loops, there are three loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn over pull through
all three loops to complete a cluster. Skip two chains. Now we'll work our first cluster. Put the hook
through the loop. wrap the yarn over pull through two loops. We will leave these two loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn over, put the hook through the loop Wrap the yarn over pull it through. Wrap the yarn over
pull through two loops, there are three loops on your hook. Wrap the yarn over and pull through all three loops.
Chain two. Work the second part of the cluster v stitch. Put the the hook through the loop. Wrap
the yarn over and pull through two loops, there are two loops on the hook. wrap the yarn over the hook.
Put the the hook through the loop. Wrap the yarn over put it through the hook, wrap the yarn over adn
pull back through the loop. pull through two loops. Wrap the yarn over pull through loop wrap the yarn
over and pull through all three loops. Skip two chains and work the stitch in the next chain. Chain two.
Work another cluster in that same stitch. I want to skip my last two chains and work a double crochet
in the last chain. I want to end with an even edge and thats why I am working a doulble crochet. Now
chain three and turn. Work a cluster v stitch in the chain two loop, and it will be created the same
way. Work the first part of the stitch, chain two, and work the second part of the stitch, still working
the same chain two space. And you copmplete the first stitch and the first chain three counts as a double crochet
Work the same stitch through the center of the next stitch, or space, and this is what I am calling a space
A very generic term in crochet which can mean lot of different things. this is a space.
right here this could be considered a space. But this is the space we are working in right now, the chain
two space. we'll work the next tstitch through this chain two space. Chain two. Work the second part
of the stitch. Now work through the chain two space of the next stitch. This will make a nice afghan,
baby afghan, full size afghan for summer. It will also make a pretty scarf. Chain two. Now we over to
the edge and I am going to work my last stitch which is a double crochet in the beginning chain. you
will continue on with this pattern for the remainder of the length of your project.
that completes five rows, of the cluter v-stitch
