PAMELA YAGER: So now that I have my top flower and my bottom border flower, I'm going to
be filling in this area with more flowers alternating. And not just on the front, we
need to work all the way around the back, too. So let's--I'm going to tell you a little
about spacing. Now, that I have a top point and a bottom point. I'm going to go directly
in the middle, to this middle point. I can use, maybe, another purple or a pink. I'm
going to go with a lavender and I'm going to coordinate--we haven't done the pink ribbon
yet. I'm going to try this pink ribbon. Again, you want to make sure that you do two pieces
because we're going to be doing the same thing on the opposite side, over on this side, so
we want to have those even. And I'm cutting my ribbon; we're ready to thread this side.
And this time, I might actually have the ribbon go in the back 'cause I've already had it
go in the front so we're going to bring it around the back. And it's up to you. A lot
of times, if you want to--how you want to start, it's--I find this is the easiest way
to space it out. And, again, I'm going to move the feathers out of the way. And I'm
going to tie the ribbon in the back this time, in a knot. And for curling this ribbon, we
want to alternate. So we're going to--even if this is curling ribbon, I'm not going to
curl it as tightly as I did this one. This one, I curled very tightly. This one, I'm
going to start a little further down. So by applying a certain amount of pressure, I use
lighter pressure in this point and then when I get towards the end, I'm going to use more
pressure and that's going to make it curl more. I wanna--kinda like the way that came
out. I kinda curled the middle part but then towards the end, I didn't put as much pressure
that made it a little straighter there. So I'm going to do the same thing on the other
side 'cause I like the way that came out. Seeing that sort of--see again, it's straight
in the end. And that just makes it a little different 'cause we want to alternate. And
now, I'm going to continue putting on flowers in different spots. And we're ready for our
next step.
