I do Computer Science Games Programming. It's a really
good course. You get a lot of different modules.
It's been very challenging, but very interesting at the same
time. The modules have been brilliant. I did always want to
study games - I've been into computer games pretty much
all my life. I picked Cyber Security because it's cool. I enjoy
programming and it's just creative and I find it fun. Not only
is it fun, but I can make lots of money! It's well-paid, it's
challenging. It makes me think, I like it. The labs, which we
are in right now, are absolutely amazing, high technology.
The teaching quality's really good. We have a lot of guest
speakers come in from the industry as well. There are so
many jobs now coming up for this. It gives me the skills that
are required for me to be a business analyst. I love IT.
I find it very hard to believe that no-one wants to do this.
It's just fun! The facilities are really good, we have one major
games lab which has a lot of console development kits you
can develop on. The PSP or PS3 or XBox 360. For everybody
who's interested in doing games and who wants to work in
the games industry, this is the course to do. There's no
better place to do something like this. I think it's given me a
brilliant basis to start in the job market.
