Hi! This is Josiah Owens with Expert Village and today we're going to be talking about
making meatless lasagna. Now we're going to talk about cutting fresh basil for our lasagna.
First thing you want to do is cut off the ends or any discolored parts. Cut the stems
off, or if you prefer you can just tear. There's nothing like cooking with fresh spices, especially
basil. Basil goes really good with hummus. It definitely adds a nice little kick whenever
you're cooking. Discard the stems. The pieces you can go ahead and cut in half. You just
want to cut them into small little pieces. I personally could eat a whole basil leaves
with my food. I'm a unique individual. Make sure these are nice and small for your guests.
If you want to try and spice things up, you can always try and find some mint basil or
add some mint with your basil. You just cut them really, really small nice and fine just
like that.
