My name is Ingar Lund and I work at Forsvarets Spesialkommando.
Where have I been for 23 years.
First, as operator, and in recent years I have been responsible for training new special hunters.
A special hunter should be able to solve any kind of military mission.
He should be able to solve the counter-terrorism mission, but also classic special forces missions.
He should be able to work under all climatic conditions.
From the Arctic to the desert.
Primarily it´s required motivation.
Also required is relatively good physique.
And not least, require considerable willingness and ability to endure discomfort for a long time.
Magazine!
It is difficult to give a simple description of a normal special hunter.
Because they come in all shapes and sizes.
We have big and we have small.
We have people with broad shoulders and we have people with narrow shoulders.
We have farmers. And we have academics.
To become a special hunter then you must have completed military service.
Secondly, you must complete a three-week special hunter course.
And after that you have to carry twelve months of basic training before being finished.
The first thing when it comes to preparing is to be absolutely sure that you can manage the physical minimum requirements by a wide margin.
Secondly, it is important to orient well, it saves a lot of time.
And finally, you need to be able to walk long distances carrying heavy.
That is the three main things.
I believe that sixty, maybe seventy percent of the course is in legs, shoulders and back.
The rest, it's motivation.
Do you take the challenge?
