What can magnetic therapy do?
Magnetic therapy has been the subject of more than 300 studies around the world in the last
10 years. In general, only when the magnets were stronger than 70-80 milliTesla and worn
for at least 24 hours were any effects observed. Therefore, it's important to wear magnets
all the time for them to work.
At the University of Virginia in 2007, Prof. Thomas Skalak was able to measure the diameter
of rat blood vessels both before and after exposing the rats to a strong, 70 milliTesla
magnetic field. He and his team found the magnetic field caused constricted blood vessels
to dilate; implying magnetic therapy could increase blood flow to tissues.
The scientific evidence for magnetic therapy
A number of studies have demonstrated that magnetic therapy is an effective form of pain
relief.
In 1997, 50 patients were studied at the Houston; Texas based Baylor College of Medicine. All
50 of these patients had earlier developed polio. As a result of their illness, the patients
had joint and muscle pains that normal treatment could not manage.
29 of the patients in the study wore a magnetic device and 21 wore a sham, nonmagnetic device.
Neither researchers nor patients knew which devices were magnetic and which weren't. A
handful of patients responded to the sham devices, due to the placebo effect. 75% of
those using the magnetic device said they felt much better.
Ionic Energy magnetic bracelets combine both
Ionic Energy magnetic bracelets combine both negative ion and magnetic therapy technology.
They are continuously renewed through natural interaction with the environment, allowing
them to function indefinitely -- with the result that you will be experiencing the benefits
for years to come.
