Hi again, it's Richard Schiff.
And clearly you're deep into the movie at this point.
We are now on a C-17, which was an actual C-17...
...one of the very first down at Edwards Air Force Base where we shot this.
Which was kind of a thrill and an honor for me...
...because we met the actual crew...
...of that cargo plane. And we were surrounded by military personnel...
...for the three weeks that we were there. Got to speak to a lot of our young men and women...
...who are back from Afghanistan and Iraq...
...and some of whom were headed out. Um, ahem.
That part of it was a real honor for me.
The fun on the plane was that, and I've gotten a lot of Twitters about this...
...Dr. Emil Hamilton really is the one who saves the world.
You gotta look at it that way. I mean, someone had to step up.
I don't know where Superman is at this point, but I'm the one that presses the button.
And an interesting little twist that Zack put in there...
...where we couldn't figure out why it didn't work...
...and then I kind of look at the thing like this, and then I realize...
...that it's just not aligned, and then I turn it and align it.
It takes a scientist to figure these things out.
Or my son when he was 4.
All right, so you could be like that, and you could go, "Wah!"
- You know, you're like, "Oh, I feel it." - Yeah.
MAN 1 [OVER RADIO]: Copy that. No pull.
MAN 2: And three, two, one, go.
ZACK: On "action"-- If you're down like this on "action"--
- Action, be like: - Then on "action."
ZACK: And then when you're crawling up here, like, a couple more looks up.
You got it.
MAN: Ready. And three, two, one, go.
Because you'll become CG probably around right-- Watch.
And this, you'll go:
- Cool. WOMAN: See, that's how easy you are to replace.
But we press the, uh-- I pressed the button. And there was a moment...
