Hi. I am Chef Isaac from Cuisines by Issac and today we are going to discuss how to make
Irish Soda bread. What I am going to do is start by taking my spatula and I am going
to take my dry ingredients and mix them together. I am going to make sure that my wheat flour,
regular flower, baking soda and baking powder all together. And while I am mixing them together,
what I am also going to do is form myself a little well right here in the center and
then I am going to pour the wet ingredients right here in the center, and then I am going
to come back and mix them together. Now over here we have our wet ingredients which is
the buttermilk and the milk and then we are going to come back over here and we are going
to pour the buttermilk into the center of the well. Then we are going to mix them together,
mixing from the outside to the center. It looks like it needs just a little bit more
moisture to bring it all together so what I am going to do is take a little milk and
add a little milk to it. I am going to keep on mixing it together until it all comes together,
mixing and keep mixing. Just a tad more milk, make sure I got it all there, and we are just
about ready for our next step. There you have it. That's how we mix the wet and the dry
ingredients together.
