MAN: People deal with grief in many different ways.
Some people talk about it,
some people write about it,
and others sing about it.
That's exactly what Lizzy and Dani Nelson did.

After losing many people who were close to them,
the identical twins from Vancouver
both wrote and sang
"Dancing in the Sky."
Over the last, like, year or so,
like, a couple of years,
we've lost several people in our life.
And then there was a recent passing of a friend.
So I was inspired to write a song that I had kind of been
working on in my head for a while.
And so I wrote "Dancing in the Sky" from that.

MAN: The twins come from a musically-inclined family,
but nobody could have imagined less than 3 months
after posting their hit on YouTube
it would have over 1.8 million views.
DANI: I didn't expect that to happen.
I mean, people Like, we post videos
and it's never taken off like "Dancing in the Sky" has.
But to be at 1.8 million, that was, like,
just blowing our minds, like, constantly.
MAN: Since releasing "Dancing in the Sky",
the girls have received touching feedback
from around the world.
LIZZY: It's just so emotional reading them, too.

Like, I end up in tears.
Another girl was telling me about the loss of her boyfriend
and that same sort of idea that's she had therapy
and grief counselling, and this song gave her closure,
finally, after years of counselling and stuff.
So, that's pretty amazing.
MAN: On a side note, since we chatted with Dani and Lizzy,
"Dancing in the Sky" has surpassed
2.5 million views on YouTube.
