Hi everyone, welcome to a new video of "The journey with Radwood Films".
I'm here dress up better than the usual,
because I'm in the Dreams cinema in Palacio de hielo in Madrid.
This is because our short film "Countdown", our first professional short film,
has been chosen for the festival "Cortopatía".
So this is it, let me show you around.
Here we have Roberto, who is making some calls.
I'm organizing everything a little because...
...it's start now, lets see if you like it...
...this is something...quit big.
Our first projection on a cinema
and very happy actually.
So, lets see if we can go inside.
See you now.
See you.
Well then, we're here where...
the people buy popcorn.
We are going to the cinema, nº 1.
I have here my ticket.
And lets see if we can film ourselves going inside.
Take a good shot.
Well this is...
another story.
Look where we are.
There are going to be shown 4 short films.
We are going on...
nº 3 I think.
Well, and tell you the room is amazing.
Will I have got you sitting here.
What are your feelings right now?
Well a bit nervous and...
a step forward for the dream.
We're going out now to say something to the people who's come...
watch the short film, and lets see if we win or not.
Good night.
Welcome.
Welcome to the first edition of Cortopatía.
We're on a premier so be happy.
I pass you over to Raul Cerezo so he can talk you about this idea or something else.
Hello? How are you? So as Irene was telling...
we've created this festival because "Cortopolis" is once a month on Kinepolis...
and we couldn't fit in all the proposals we received.
We've received about 2000 short films to Cortopolis...
so everybody said that all short films didn't fit...
and Dreams supported us...
with this amazing room which has been reformed.
The sound is THX and the projection is the best in Madrid.
And as you now there are a lot of short film festivals but...
as good as this there would be 9 in all Spain...
so we wanted to do something big.
Basically, this is the idea of Cortopatía.
The short films that don't get in comes here.
And at the end of the night, this is important listen carefully ...
you will have to choose your favorite short film.
One of these four.
And...
I'm going to call one of each short film...
so the can explain in one minute what every they want to.
Up you go.
Hello, good night to everyone.
I'm Roberto Bueno Juristo, as Irene said.
First of all I want to thanks Raul Cerezo, Cortopatía and the Dreams cinema....
For the opportunity they give us all.
And apart from that, thanks to all my team, my family, my friends...
my girlfriend and my brother, most importantly.
And what I want to tell is a psychological action thriller...
which took us more than 7 months of work.
And is 30 minutes long, I hope it seems shorter...
and for what I heard, it happens.
Nothing else, the only thing I wanted to said is that with this short film I wanted to...
demonstrate in quotations marks...
that that it's possible to make an action film here in Spain...
with a great variety of locations and could interest to the general public...
and lets see if we have done the job.
So that's all, thank you all for coming.
And now we leave you with the short film.
Enjoy the session...
and I will shut up, have fun.
Well, the winner is...
Roberto.
I'll pass him the mic.
First of all...
thank the work of the team.
I know how hard it is.
And second of all, thank all of you.
My intention as a director is that the people...
like you, like everybody...
make you disconnect from your daily life and your routine...
and free your mind because, from my point of view,
there are too many problems we've got.
I make sure you forget about them.
I want to thank all my team.
For this amazingly great film, and by having to stand me...
like I said it was 7 months of work.
Intensive.
And all the people around me...
who knows the difficulty of this job.
Thank you all again, this is not for me is for all of you...
and have fun.
Well, we got out of the cinema...
On my behalf, I have to say...
watching the short film...
in a room. It has been incredible.
You are not aware of...
because me neither...
I just... don't know...
It's been amazing.
The first one...
And like that...straight.
The truth is...
Neither me, nor my two friends and brothers...
would of dreamed watching our work...
on a movie screen.
And the truth is it has been amazing watching all the people...
So many people watching your work,
watching your project on big screen...
And the truth is, I'm very proud of the work.
After so much hard work and time spent on the job...
at last... we've had our reward.
Thank you Cortopatía for this opportunity...
And to all the people who vote for us and all the followers.
Tell you that if you want to follow us...
