Restored Straight Razor Shave - First pass

Hey it's Thomas from BuyStraightRazors.co so, uh, today I'm going to be shaving with a straight razor. I bought this at an antique shop so I guess it's like, you know, one of those antique uh... shop specials and then I had it restored uh... by Glen at uh... GemStarCustoms about a year and a half ago but I haven't shaved with it yet. So, for whatever reason just kinda put it off but I got tired of shaving with a shavette so now I'm going to try this out and see how it works. So I'm going to lather up and then just uh... shave with it, shave my beard, I have about a 10 days growth right now so we'll see how it goes and then um... if you uh, I've been wondering if you guys like to see... th-like, the entire length of the video I haven't been editing out any part just so people can see how that, actually how long from start to finish it takes so, but um, if you think it will be better if I just cut out the pieces where I'm not shaving, uh... just let me know in the comments. So I'd appreciate it. So let's start. so this is the first video I've done since I shaved off my mustache and so I think uh, I saw that, you might have remembered that redness that I had uh, that came down to right here and then a little bit on my chin. I think it's still there, so I don't think it was anything to do with the, the actual shaving it might have been a little bit, but I think it's something else so I might have to go see a dermatologist or something, so. so that's the first pass, I'll lather up and do a second pass uh this is, it feels lighter than my other straight razor it probably is but it uh... seems to shave pretty well so... It actually shaved quite nicely. It's still little bit of discoloration right there, so... may, may, may, maybe it is just cause it didn't get any sun there, I don't know.
