Winter in Germany is not always as funny and sunny as on this picture.
This is why i decided to escape to a caribbean island, namely Guadeloupe.
At first, I travelled from Strasbourg to Paris in a fairly small propeller powered plane.
A big Boeing 777 carried me to Pointe a Pitre, which is the international airport of Guadeloupe.
If you're lucky, the flight is not fully booked and you can chill, lying across several seats sleeping.
..but the main reason for my trip is diving.
The Jacques Cousteau National Park is actually an underwater park.
You can dive here as a tourist, as long as you don't disturb the underwater wildlife or damage corals and the alike.
There is no dangerous wildlife aroud here and you can safely discover the underwater world.
Once you're done diving, you can take a refreshing bodysurfing break.
Guadeloupe also has a volcano, which is currently just spitting sulfur gasses.
As cool as it was, I have to leave for germany now.....
