Another thing that you can do with Kurzweil 3000,
is enter sticky notes. Much like
posted notes, sticky notes can be placed anywhere within
the document by clicking on this
icon rate here. So now I find a space
on the document that I wanna put a sticky note click it
'This is a
sample sticky note' Now,
once I move my cursor onto the sticky note and the arrows changed to four arrows
just like this,
I can hold the left mouse button down and moved this sticky note anywhere in the
document that I want. So for this example,
I'll place it right here. To get out of the sticky note,
I just click anywhere outside of the yellow box and that takes me back to my
document. I can do the exact same thing with the 'text note',
the only difference is, is that it doesn't have the yellow highlighting to
it.
"This is a sample text note".
Again, it just comes down to personal preference
some people might like the bright yellow note other people might find that
distracting and they might want to opt for something like this.
So again with my mouse I'm just going to place it right here,
and I'm gonna click outside of the box or not. Now if you have a headset
microphone plugged into Kurzweil 3000,
you can also leave a voice note. So what I'm gonna do something to place my mouse
in an area where I wanna leave a voice note.
Click on voice right here,
and then I'm gonna select an area in my document where I wanna place a
voice note. So in this case I'm gonna place it right here.
So you'll l see a new voice note window appear
and all I have to do is just click on the record button
and leave my note. "This is a sample Voice
note". Click on the stop button,
and if you wanna preview it you can click on this button rate here:
"This is a sample Voice
note". And if I'm satisfied with that note, I
click on the OK button. Now you'll notice
a little audio icon appears, so the next time I go into this document if I double
click on the audio icon,
"This is a sample Voice
note". You'll notice that the voice note appears.
