On behalf of Expert Village my name is Pat Louis. Here in Miami I'm going to show you
today how to set up a drum kit. As a drummer you also consider a percussionist so there
are maybe some accessories that you want to have handy. Some of them might be a set of
chimes this is a set of chimes they are elongated in different lengths so they have a higher
pitch and they go down to a lower pitch. It's very nice to have along side the set so when
you are doing the end of a ballet for instance when you finishing up, you can just take the
stick and runt it past the chimes and it has a nice feral kind of a worldly sound. Some
of the other things that you will find that would be good would be a cow bell, cow bells
are good for country songs as well as cha cha's and some Latin things. A gourd which
is usually a elongated item like this which is used with an instrument that scratches
it.
And of course clave's these of course you need your hands so sometimes you are working
with tracks and if a track has a drum set already build in you can stand up and have
a little fun with those.
