Today it's thursday, friday?
- Thursday. - The final racing day.
Today we're going to drive to Adelaide, to the finish.
Twenty kilometres behind Tokai, really close.
Compared to 3000 kilometres it's almost as good as nothing.
I think we have a small chance for first place.
In any case we're going to do our very best.
We're going to take a little bit of risk, and then we're going for first place.
Nuna go!
Speed limit, 25 kilometres per hour. Twenty-five.
We just saw Tokai driving away.
It's getting more excited by the minute.
They are driving really fast, so they're still a long way ahead of us.
***.
If we get second after all, we can only conclude that Tokai's car is better.
In a 3000-kilometre race to finish only minutes behind the number one, means that the cars are evenly matched.
Second place, I think we did fine.
Extremely exciting. We didn't expect that last bridge and our batteries were completely drained.
Everything turned red on the status screen.
Holy ***! No, slow down, slow down.
They had to go up that hill and they said to Javier "Stop accelerating! Stop accelerating!"
Javier stopped accelerating just in time.
Everything started to get less red.
And then it started again.
Redder, redder!
Come on, Javier, come on!
Then we passed the hill, but the batteries were completely drained.
And I thought "Nooooo!"
Was really cool. I saw my speed diminish.
If we hadn't made it up on that hill we would've had to stop and be overtaken by Michigan.
Yeah, something like that, yeah.
First celebrating. And charging. Definitely charging.
Super cool, everyone is cheering for us!
Really, super cool!
Yesterday we were a bit disappointed, but a welcome like this completely made up for it.
I'm really happy.
