And we're back with Glenn Dolf with the pen trick, So what's next? Ok you learned a move.
Yes. You've got it down pretty much, with a little better practice you can, you will
be able to accomplish that. Now I'm going to teach you the steps of the routine. Ok.
So now that you know a move what you want to do is to be able to routine it. So it's
an entertaining trick. The very first thing that you want to do is to introduce the pen,
hello pen. Right here. And then you're going to hand this to the spectator (ok) so that
they can look at it, here I'll hold that for you (alright) just for a moment. So I'll be
the audience for you? Just like I did with you, I handed it to you. Ok. And they can
look at it ( I can see that there is) and see that there is anything, anything funny
about it or fake. And this very first move is going to set up the moves for later. You've
already practiced the paddle move. You know the angles. Ok. So the very first time that
you show the writing on one side and no writing on the other, do you recognize that move?
Yes it's the paddle move. It's without the twist. Without the twist of your finger yeah,
it looks the same. It looks the same. And that's what's important. So you're conditioning
them to see the pen in this mode. Interesting, can I try it? Sure. So here you're my audience.
Here you go you see there is writing here, there's nothing here, there is writing here,
there is nothing here. So I do the same wrist movement (yes and you'll go back) but I don't
do the finger. Yes and you'll watch your angle, when you come up you want to, see where my,
see where the pen is. Ooh that hurt. Yep. Magic, good magic hurts. Yeah so here they
can see from the side like this, interesting. That's the first step. Great and we're going
to be learning the second step next.
