>>Well I think designers have a really low boredom threshold actually so I think, um,
you know London Fashion Week is the chance to see all the new ideas coming from all the
designers, you know, just that excitement around fashion all the newness, new ideas
gets everybody's juices going again if you like.
>>Well there's definitely a shift, there's definitely movement in the air towards a more
feminine, um, you know, slightly more fluid way of dressing so that's something we've
address in the collection this time. With a hint of evening wear but yes just that move
towards something a little less strict and rigid, something with more movement is, is
probably the thing we're most excited about.
>>I think it was probably attending a foundation course, cos I'd done the whole thing with
the dolls dresses as a kid but when I went to foundation course I really thought, I've
come home, this is this is where I need to be, doing something creative. And the fashion
section of that course was where my loyalties lie, where I found the most strength so, yeah
I think it was probably then, my 1 year foundation course. Which I loved.
>>I think the one piece of advice that I'd give to somebody who wanted to start out in
fashion would be to do as many different things that aren't actually to do with fashion because
you'll find inspiration in so many no fashion related things whether it's a walk in the
park looking at the shape of leaves or the colour of pebbles on the beach. Your inspiration
can come from anywhere and everywhere and if it's only fashion related your end result
can become a little limited. It's important to look at fashion obviously, but do, do as
many other things as you can.
>>We do use Skype quite a lot actually, we just recently interviewed a designer for a
potential position at Whistles, who was, who was in New York and couldn't get to England
for an interview. So that was a fantastic way to, to get a more personable approach
to interviewing someone who wasn't in the country.
