So here's our bugle bead, a dark seed bead, another bugle bead and then sharing this seed bead right here.
If you bend, if you bend the, the strand a little, you can get into the side of the seed
bead there. Keep your threads clear and pull that gently through. OK? You can see the pattern,
you can almost guess what's next here. A bugle, a seed bead, a bugle and then back through
the top. So here is our bugle bead, a dark seed bead, a bugle bead. Pull that gently
through. And then through the top two seed beads that we're sharing for this strand.
OK. You can really see how the lattice is starting to shape up. When we get to the top
of the fabric, it's nice to just secure that with a little bit of a half hitch here. And,
oops we got caught on that pin. OK. And then again, you travel down through your seam and
come out at your next interval marking. Remove those pins, because we, we were already there.
And we'll continue our lattice pattern. Starting with our two dark seed beads. OK. Now this
time you can see that we, we want to share this seed bead so we're only going to use
one bugle bead here. And we'll do this alternating pattern all the way down the project. OK.
Now I've, I've done a lot of the lattice here. And I'm just going to show you, we'll finish
up with this, this row with a bugle, a dark seed bead and another bugle. And my thread
is about two needle lengths long. And you want to end your thread when it gets to be
about that point. So that you have enough room to do the knotting. We want to always
knot at the fabric. So, I'm going to finish up by coming through my two dark seed beads.
OK. And holding the loop so that it doesn't get tangled. And then push the needle through
the fabric and we'll make our knot on the back so that it doesn't show. OK. And to knot
that off you just take a little bit of the fabric, and then you have a loop, pull that
loop down and you have another loop. Put your needle through the final loop and pull that
tight. OK. Just snip that close to the knot and I have another needle all threaded and
knotted. Sometimes it's nice to have several needles when you're doing a large project
like this, several needles all threaded and ready to go so you can just start with your
next one. And we're going to put our needle in at our next marked off point. And make
sure that the knot is going to be well behind the fabric, not at the end where you're going
to see it. You want to push the needle, you can almost put it a little diagonally and
to hide that knot. And we'll begin again with our two beginning dark seed beads and one
bugle bead and then we'll share. We'll start by sharing this first seed bead here. And
then continue on until the end in this way.
