Okay this is going to be a quick video showing you guys
0:04 the setup on a Ride Crush
0:08 155 with Ride Crush EX Bindings
0:11 both are 2013 products
0:16 we get on once you have established your stance
0:21 I have established that i'm gonna ride duck
0:24 this will be a small, mellow duck
0:28 it will be 15 in the front, this is my front
side 0:31
and 12 in the back so if you look here at the base plate
0:36 and I don't know how well the camera is gonna
pick it up but it's at about 12 here 0:40
and I said about a 15 here 0:44
and you can use the markings 0:47
on the board itself and that will help the board
0:50 Center. Once you got it centered
0:53 put in your screws and just make sure that
when you're screwing down the baseplate 0:58
go in a criss-cross fashion, don't just focus on
1:02 one screw and then lock it all the way down
without continuing with the rest 1:06
because you could strip them. So agin go criss-cross when you bring in the screws in
1:11 and get it nice and tight, then
1:12 you can move on on. Your next step, would
be to 1:16
install your wedgie foot beds and there is a little clip here
1:22 that connects here and it just screws down
and it gives 1:26
you about a half inch of play to adjust it where you want it
1:30 now which you wanna pay attention to is once
you got that done 1:34
you wanna set up your boot to be 1:39
even and balanced on you're bored 1:42
so you want the actual heel 1:46
and toe to come off the board 1:49
exactly the same or at least as close as you possibly can
1:53 and the way you can do that is, right here
1:57 is your heel cup settings I move my heel cup
2:01 back to the that third setting theres one
2:04 two right here and then the third. Do that
on both sides 2:08
and you wanna continue that on both bindings 2:12
so what you have that done then measured again 2:16
and that should be pretty even and I wear 2:19
like I a 10 and a half so after you 2:23
have that done that the other thing you want to do is you wanna
2:28 pay attention to your high back and
2:32 make sure you get your high back parallel
2:35 with the board itself. I see a lot of people
2:39 they have the high back matching the same
angle so 2:43
if this high back was match in the same angle as
2:47 12 degree duck the high back would be over
by 2:50
a little bit facing this direction 2:53
and not facing this direction. Placing it 2:56
parallel give you more control, giving you more accurate
3:00 boarding. So on the way you can do that is
3:03 like on this because its the back I take it
to the third 3:07
on this side and the first 3:11
on this side, and on that bindings its gonna be about
3:15 opposite. But play your bindings and get them
the way you like it because I don't know 3:19
what way your gonna 3:19
ride, I don't know your stance thats just kinda helping you out a little bit there
3:24 now also lets talking about
3:28 the toe and ankle straps. Kinda go with the
system of 3:32
for the toe strap, I want 3:36
be just about even with the other side I'm want, once its locked in their
3:40 I don't want too far down. The farther down
it is the hard it is to get out 3:45
when your done, when you get back down to the bottom of the hill so I kinda of leave
it 3:50
even and the same thing actually on the 3:54
ankle strap so if you see that 3:57
and now I got a lot of play back there, the way I'm kinda of working on the ankle strap
4:01 I trying to get this line here
4:05 sorry about that guys, this line here
4:08 to line up with the boot so I still have a
little more play in the ratchet. 4:14
And the same thing on the other side I'm still trying to get it to line up with the boot
itself 4:18
here 4:19
you can get it the way you like it but what's nice
4:23 on these bindings is these are tool less adjustments,
so if you go out and ride your board 4:27
and you 4:28
don't like the way it is set up, 4:31
pull this back, pull this back 4:35
and you can adult where the strap sits 4:39
on your board. 4:42
not to mention even if you broke a couple of teeth on here
4:46 on the strap, you could older another one
and ratchet it out 4:49
its all tool less adjustments there, the one tools that will be required is
4:52 are here and that's adjusting your heel cup.
like so 4:58
so if you do adjust the heel cup, just 5:03
adjust those two out. Go back 5:08
this here thats more for if you want to pull 5:12
this entire high back. You would need to remove this
5:17 one here just, so you can adjust it over
5:21 and the other thing you can adjust back here
5:24 is the actual angle of the high back, the
actual 5:28
degrees of the high, I like mind to see at zero
5:32 but I actually like it to sit a what they
call level 9 5:36
on Ride, but it really is a level 3 or 4 on any other board
5:39 so camera is not really picking it up
5:43 you guys get the idea, you get the gist of
it. 5:47
SO thats my 2012-2013 Ride Crush, I will see you guys later. Peace
