My career started back in the junior days, and winning junior tournaments.
From there I thought my game was good enough and went into the pro ranks.
And won my first tournament as a pro,
and won 108 more after that.
Along with 8 grand slams singles championships, two doubles championships with my friend llie Nastase
and Wimbledon of course was great, I won that a couple times.
And to look back and to say that I was ranked #1 for five consecutive years,
better than anybody else in the whole world? That's pretty special.
Well when I found out I was playing a poster I was in shock.
Are you kidding me?
First of all I didn't think you'd ever make it this far to make to be able to get into this kind of competition.
This is what I'm going up against?
My smack talking days are kind of behind me.
But I am going to say to the poster that he's got nothing.
Come on.
We've gone through all the introductions now. We've met, we know each other now.
But if you're going to get into this kind of action, you're going to need one of these.
I know that I've never taken anybody lightly. Or anything lightly.
Especially going on in the one-on-one atmosphere.
So right away it's going to be in your face.
I'm Jimmy Connors and for Reporters Without Borders, I'm taking on this poster.
Ready to go?
Come on Mr. Poster!
Just gonna just *bleep* here, you gotta move a little bit.
Just gonna just *bleep* here, you gotta move a little bit.
Here. Come on! Fire up!
You think you're going to bring the heat?
I'm ready for you.
Come on! Come on Mr. Poster!
