Hi, I am Candi Cane-Canncel with Expert Village. So, we have stitched up the majority of the
body of our little doll and now it is time to trim the edges and then we are going to
flip it inside out. What I like to do is just go ahead and trim any of the excess. You don't
want to trim it too much because it is good to have a little bit of extra grip in here.
Just going to trim it a little. And threads you might have. I always end up with a ton
of little thread pieces, so I like to trim them off as well. So, then just go ahead and
turn it inside out. You just want to be careful as you do it. Any of the little thread that
ended up on the outside, just go ahead and trim them as well. And then you are going
to poke the head out.
And wha la! So, now what we are going to do is go ahead and stuff the head and the body
and then we are going to close it up and add some fun little character to the head. Just
going to take some stuffing. So this is when the tweezers comes in handy. You can just
go ahead and stuff the doll and just put your finger all the way up as much as possible
and then you can take your tweezers and just kind of spread it out. Once you have the head
done, then just go ahead and stuff the body. I am going to stuff my body a lot because
this is where I am really going to use this as my pin cushion. So I want to get a lot
of pin cushion in there. You just want to fold in your seam allowances and then go ahead
and pin it. We will actually be stitching this last part up by hand. Once you have it
pinned, you want to go ahead get some thread and needle and we will just tack it up by
hand.
