Cooperation memorandum between FC "Spartak" and the school of Brazilian Football in Russia
Valery Karpin, the General director and the coach of "Spartak-Moscow"
We've taken a big step. The school of the Brazil football will be our regional representative in the Southern Federal District.
We have lots of positive moments from it. Historically every month talented football players are born there.
We can't cover the whole territory of Russia with one school in Moscow. We are very glad for this cooperation memorandum.
We are very grateful to the Brazilian football school for cooperation and we hope it will last for very long time.
Sergei Shishkarev, the chairman of the mass football committee and the founder of the Brazilian football school:
Probably everybody knows what the club "Spartak" is, but I guess very few people know what the Brazil football school is.
The project was launched in 2006. One of the authors of the project was Arkady Zaikin who knows everything about Brazil and worked there as a diplomat.
In 2006 we came up with an idea that if there is the Russian ballet school in Brazil, why we can't open a Brazil football school in Russia?
Today the project is 5 years old. And we get first alumni.
Today you will see one of them who might start playing in the first team of Spartak.
We have our schools in Moscow, the Moscow region, the Naro-Fominsk district and the city of Novorossiysk.
A unique football infrastructure is being developed. There will be built a football complex consisting of 4 football fields in the village of Abrau-Dyurso.
The school contains two groups now: the boys born in 1994-94 and in 1997-98. Next year we will admit more children.
We decided to admit every odd year. I grew up in the Spartak club. I was a provincial boy from Novorossiysk.
The generation of Gavrilov, Sochnov, Pozdnyakov. They were my idols when I was a child.
Then it was Gladilin, then Karpin, Mostovoy and other players.
So today's results are fruits of long tradition.
Now I would like to offer to sign the cooperation memorandum.
How were your studies? Tell us
Ilnur Alshin, alumnus of the Brazilian football school:
I started to study in the BFS in 2006. Then we flew to Brazil. It was a one month internship for us.
There were very good conditions to train there. The school is located in the village of Kabardinka.
Then I started playing in the team.
Ari, the player of the Spartak team:
He agrees that mass football is very important and he can tell his story.
He played football on the beach. They played between two districts.
The specialists and noticed him. And invited to a small team. This is how his career started.
We have no beach.
Yes, there is no beach here. That's why this project is very important.
All infrastructure and resources Russia owns should be used to bring up young talented football players.
He wishes this project would be successful and useful for the development of Russian football.
