The perpetual virginity of Jesus' Mother
Praised be Jesus Christ who became the son of the *** Mary
May His grace and His peace be with you.
The perpetual virginity of Jesus' Mother is said in the Gospel itself as so :
when the archangel Gabriel announced to Mary
that she's "the favoured one" to become the Mother of the Messiah,
she said "How can this be, since I am a ***?" (Luke 1.26-38)
Of course, the matter was not to know how a child is conceived.
As she was already a fiancée, she couldn't ignore it.
The only possible meaning to this objection
is that, as Mary had wished to stay a virgn to give fully of herself to God,
she couldn't see how she was about to become a mother.
That's why the archangel Gabriel reminded her that "nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1.37)
This is the reason why she can be a *** and a mother at the same time.
So, Mary was a *** before the miraculous conception of Jesus Christ
and so was she while she was giving birth.
As true as God, who approved His servant's wish of virginity thanks to which she was consecraed to Him,
and the answer of the archangel Gabriel proves it (Luke 1.37),
He had to respect this wish
and He did so and He were born as the light goes through crystal
Or, as Jesus will do later, as appearing whereas all the doors are locked. (John 20.19-26)
After she gave birth to Jesus, Mary was still a ***,
contrary to what many heretics say
when they think that the "brothers" of Jesus in the Gospel
is the poof that Mary wasn't a *** anymore.
However, you must know that in Hebrew,
a word can have many meanings.
Here, "brother" means "cousin", and it has this meaning in many extracts of the Bible.
The Gospel also shows that Jesus doesn't have any brother
as, the day He past away, Jesus left His mother with St. John (John 19.26-27)
It means that apart from the fact Mary was a widow
she didn't have any other son that could have protect her, and that's why Jesus asks John to protect her.
Moreover, unlike Jesus, His brothers are never called "Mary's sons" (Mark 6.3)
And Mary is only called Jesus' Mother.
And she is called so even when Jesus' "brothers" are there.
When St Matthew (1.25) says : Joseph "did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son."
first, he doesn't say what happened after Mary gave birth
and secondly, he says that Joseph is not Jesus' natural father.
And thus, when he says Joseph is not Jesus' natural father
he doesn't suppose that another man could be His father
and when he says that Joseph didn't know Mary "until she gave birth",
he doesn't say that Joseph consummed their marriage after she gave birth.
Mary's perpetual virginity give an incomparable and brilliant testimony to the truth of God.
Indeed it's because He is the eternal God who was already existing before he came on earth
that the second person from the Holy trinity didn't need to exist
thanks to the union of a married couple, as each human on earth.
To save humanity,
Jesus didn't need to be conceived
He just needed to become human
and thus, a mother is enough.
Only a *** could be the perfect mother.
Creation had been saved thanks to Mary's faith in God.
If she, the immaculate conception, had decided to say "no"
whereas she was the only one who was able to be Jesus' Mother, Jesus wouldn't have existed
and we wouldn't have been saved!
That's why we must trust and love the Blessed *** more than we already do.
When she welcomed John as her son, she welcomed us all, and she became Our Mother
and she gives birth to the eternal and divine life to us
as she gave birth to Jesus into a human and mortal life.
She is the new Eve, and she saved us thanks to her obedience, counterbalancing the disobedience of the first Eve
and she became the mother of all of those "who wwere born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1.13)
Honour, and Glory to God in and by the immaculate heart of Mary
AMEN.
“Behold, your mother!..." (John 19.27)
