The support
data tab in the SDKUtility makes it really easy to
export things like logs and configuration files to a
central location. So what you can
do is in here select what you are interested in
outputting. And you can go over to this details tab and select even more
details about it. And then you'll have to pick a target
directory. So I've just picked this directory right here, it's just a folder
on my desktop. And when I tell it to generate
data, it will go ahead and it will populate this
folder, see? Things like the
Windows Event Log, the server logs and other
information about this
node. And there is one or two things which might take a
minute to collect and we'll just wait for those to
finish.
If I wanted to know more about the installed
interfaces, I'd put a check mark box here
on installed files. And what that
does is it will show me all the .BAT files of all the
installed interfaces on this node as well as the
PI client and PI logon.ini and a few other ones as well.
