Hey there, DanceOn.
It's Mia, and I'm doing your Glee Project
recap for the week.
So this week on the Glee Project, the theme was
vulnerability.
And it was a very, very intense week.
The homework assignment song was "My Life Would Suck
Without You" by Kelly Clarkson.
And everyone was getting really feisty when they were
choosing the lines in the song that they would each sing.
So the standout for that was Lily.
She was definitely getting super competitive.
And everyone was getting rubbed the wrong way by her.
So everyone knows now to watch out for her in the
competition.
Cory Monteith was the guest judge, and he
plays Finn on Glee.
The winner of the week was Nellie, so she had a
one-on-one session with him, and they talked it out.
And he gave her some really good advice.
So the group number song for the week was
"Everybody Hurts" by REM.
And instead of choreography this week--
shocker--
they had a session with Eric, who is the music video
director of the show.
And they all got together and talked about personal
experiences on bullying.
And it helped a lot.
You could tell that a lot of them let it all out.
So that was really good.
Filming this week was absolutely insane.
The music video was just different snippets of everyone
on the show being bullied and then some bullying the others
and a combination of the two.
And there was a lot of acting and conveyance this week.
So it had to obviously be believable.
Some scenes were so believable that it was literally scary.
And some not so much.
So it sounds like a cliche and overdone video, but it
actually turned out to be really emphatic and powerful.
So I recommend you guys go watch the music video.
It was really good.
Blaine, who was called back first, he's a cutie.
That was cute.
I was just like, oh, I'm so excited!
Fangirling.
But he was followed by Eileen, Abraham, Michael, and Shanna,
and then a few others.
Tyler was called back as well.
And he was ecstatic because he's been in the bottom three
for the past few weeks.
So he was really happy he finally got in there.
The bottom three for this week were Charlie, Mario, and Lily.
Lily sang "Murky" by Duffy, which is a great song.
I love that song.
She broke down after her performance, and she was like,
I feel like I haven't gotten to show my vulnerability.
You guys always give me these strong, powerful songs.
And she was just like, wah, wah, wah, wah.
But they really did appreciate her genuine vulnerability and
that she was letting loose and not being the strong, powerful
one for once.
Charlie sang "Fix You" by Coldplay.
And Ryan really, really liked his performance and him, so
that was good.
Mario sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and it was so good.
I was sitting there like, seriously?
My mouth was gaping open.
It was crazy.
He can really sing.
Ryan appreciated his vulnerability, too.
But in the end, sadly--
no one goes home!
I was like, what?
But it was really good.
I was excited.
Excitement!
So that's good.
Next week, there will be 11 contenders again, and it's
going to be awesome.
So I will see you guys on the flip side.
Have a great week.
It's going to be fantastic.
And I'll see you guys next time.
Bye!
