I'm Steven Graham, I work in the Operations department.
And today I'm the match day commander for Wolves v West Brom.
The role involves a couple of weeks worth of planning for a match as large as this.
Where we'd meet with the football club holding the event.
Meet with colleagues from the Football Planning Unit.
But also with my Bronze Commanders who will be leading the officers on the ground,
and they have been involved in the planning process as well.
A spotter is a specialist officer put on the Football Unit,
basically to look out for what we class as risk supporters.
We go out on match days, find who we class as a risk supporter,
and evidence that by putting it through our radio,
and it gets evidentially logged.
Dress, who they are with, and all that goes towards banning orders.
I've just been conducting the briefing in there,
for all of the officers involved in today's operation.
At this stage we've got nine PSUs and three coming on later,
to deal with the post-match phase.
The main policing objectives today are to make sure that individuals who come here
to enjoy the day as they would any other match.
Obviously we're conscious of that fact that there may be some individuals
here to cause us some problems.
So we're going to make sure that can't happen.
Those supporters intent on causing trouble, we have plans in place to deal with them.
I'm Steve Bull outside the Molineux ground.
Hopefully there won't be any disturbances, I think most of the people
these days actually come to enjoy the game and not to get into any trouble.
Also as well the police, I think actually have it in hand.
So hopefully today everyone can enjoy the game.
It's a big fixture so both fans want to win,
hopefully they'll just come here to watch a game of football,
and go home without causing trouble.
As the inside commander my role is to make sure that the match
in terms of safety both for the visitors, the spectators and the players
and that we work closely with the club in terms of monitoring CCTV.
In terms of what's happening inside the ground.
In the control centre we have the communications channels
between myself and my police colleagues.
We obviously control with the fire and ambulance service
within the control room and the club itself with the safety officers
We'll have a wide range of CCTV cameras and access to all areas of the ground
Obviously inside the ground in terms of bar areas and public areas,
and obviously the immediate vicinity outside the ground.
I'm Sergeant Mark Perry here at the custody suite at the Molineux.
Hopefully we'll have a quiet game, however if not,
This is where the prisoners get brought to when under arrest.
They get booked into custody and after the game transported to Bloxwich police station.
I'm delighted that everything is going to plan.
We've brought both sets of supporters in safely and only had to make one arrest in total.
Other than that it's gone exactly to plan.
At the end of the game the score was 3-1 to Wolves.
The match went off as a success.
We've had one arrest for a public order offence. The ground has been cleared safely.
We're just waiting to escort the home fans and the away fans,
and I've passed over to my colleague the outside match commander.
I'm very happy with how things have gone inside the stadium.
Which is helped by working in partnership with people at the ground.
We've seen a safe and rapid dispersal of both sets of supporters.
Back to their home towns and a few Wolves supporters going into town for a celebratory beer.
I think everyone - bar the West Brom supporters - have had a safe and happy event.
