In our world today, everything has been customized. My name is Dean Hale, and I'm going to teach
you how to make custom die. What you can do is you can get some oven bake clay from your
local arts and crafts store, and it comes in various colors, white, it also comes in
red, and it comes in a green color. Now these can be done for various reasons. Very popular
in your local role playing games, or if you wanted to make a dice for any reason at all.
What you would do, is you would take the clay you would roll it up, pick it out and put
it aside as you want to have t for your die. You're going to take it and you're going to
roll it in your hand, you're going to roll it into a ball shape. Once you get it into
that shape, it doesn't have to be perfect, but you get it into that ball shape, and you
can then press it down with your fingers, or you can use this local tool, again that
I bought a local arts and crafts store for a couple of dollars. Or you can use a butter
knife, or something that home that has a flat edge. And you would push down and get your
edges as you want them. As you can see, I've got something that's pretty much like a die
shape here. You can do something funky and you can actually have different colors. Green
and white. You can actually make something red and use white clay to make your pips on
the die. You would then put it in the oven for about fifteen to twenty minutes at two
hundred fifty degrees. When it comes out after it has hardened, you can then take a paint
pen, or you could take a sharpie, and you can write whatever you wanted to on your die
to then use it during your games. So, right here is an eight sided die that we've used.
So again, that's how you'd make custom die, and my name is Dean Hale, and happy dice making.
