Hello. My name is Stephen Hamilton and I'm a board
certified criminal defense attorney in Lubbock, Texas. I
practice in Lubbock, Texas and the surrounding areas. And
today's video clip deals with you were arrested for a DWI, but
you had a few drinks and you certainly don't feel that you
were intoxicated. What do you do? You know every day a police
officer says they have the training and the experience to
tell you that you were intoxicated. But, I think
ultimately you have the best knowledge about whether or not
you were intoxicated. If you had two beers, if you have consumed
alcohol in the past so that you have a little bit of a tolerance
to it. And you're certainly with two beers not over a legal limit
of . 08. You probably have a better idea if you were
intoxicated than the police officer who visited with you for
15 minutes. So, if you were arrested for a DWI and you feel
that you weren't intoxicated, then call me. Pick up the phone,
call me, come in. Let's sit down and go through the facts of your
case. I will tell you this, if you weren't guilty of the DWI,
the absolute worse thing you can do in many cases is just
plead guilty to the DWI. A DWI has serious consequences - there
are drivers' license issues, fines, probation, potential jail
time. Just because you've been arrested for DWI, does not mean
they can prove that you are guilty of the DWI. My office
number is 806-794-0394. Call me, come in, sit down, visit with me
about the particulars in your case. That's it for today's
video clip. I'm Stephen Hamilton. Thank you very much for watching
and have a great day!
