it's important that you familiarize yourself with the interface
before you start to navigate to toon boom animate
the top menu contains most of the commands available in the software
the playback toolbar is used to play your animation

the library is used to store and reuse symbols and templates

when you work with the tool you often use the tool properties view to either
alter a selection or change the tools behavior
the timeline view is mainly used to add layers change the timing create effects
and order your elements you can also change the scene length creates symbols
and templates enter symbols and add keyframes
the tools toolbar contains most of the drawing and animation tools you will use
when working in animate
the camera view is the center of your operations
this is where you draw paint animate position your elements
and view the animation playback and results of any effects you had
