To start off, you'll need flame, like a lighter. Um, your gonna need some... dry kindling.
You want to start off with some really small pieces... like this. And your gonna gradually
be adding larger and larger pieces so its important that you have lots of different
sizes of wood to get your fire started and get it... um... going. So we're gonna start
off with... some cardboard and to get the cardboard going you wanna rip it up... and
some pieces, I roll up, so that they're kindof more like logs... its gonna take some
more... energy to get them to heat.
Kay. And we're gonna put it in the wood burning stove.
Now the key is, is that you wanna have air circulating underneath the, um, pile of
wood. You definitely don't wanna lay wood down flat. Once you get your fla... flame
going a little bit, your going to start off with smaller pieces of tinder... kindling.
Get the small... look through your pile, find the smaller pieces and those are the pieces your gonna throw on first.
Kay, so now I'm gonna close the door to create some ventilation.
Kay, this is looking pretty good and hot. Open it up... and add a little bit larger
pieces of kindling.
And I'll close the door again to create some... suction.
