Hi. Welcome back to Expert Village. My name is Kat Litrenta and I'm a professional entertainer.
Well, we're working on the last segment of our big bands 1940's music. We've done all
our research. We've gotten our costumer together. We've got all of our music on our own CD and
we're taking our show on the road. Well now, how do you do that? First of all, make sure
if you're driving to your event and you've got to take all of your equipment, make sure
all of your equipment fits in your car. And don't forget extension cords. Never assume
they're going to have things that you need. Make sure you bring a music stand and a microphone
stand and your music and your CD. Very important! And now, you may need to bring your own refreshments.
Bring a little bottle of water and maybe some ice to keep it cold for yourself. And when
you get to the event, you might have to park at the last parking spot. Well, make sure
either your equipment has wheels or you have a cart with wheels on it so you're not toting
this heavy equipment to the site. And if you're in your costume, the last thing you want to
do is show up sweaty. And I think that's pretty much how you take your show; I know that's
how I take my show, on the road.
