>> HENRY: Welcome back cooking with Anne. How good does that look? Those are pork chops.
We are going to do barbeque pork chops today with Mrs. Anne in Anne Grimes' kitchen once
again of Anne's Dumplings and Mrs. Anne, today barbeque pork chops. What does that have to
do with Anne's Dumplings?
>> ANNE: Not a thing, we just have the One Sauce.
>> HENRY: People who haven't tried the One Sauce yet are going to really love it. We
use it for chicken, pork chops, everything at my house and today you are going to tell
us how to make some of the best barbeque pork chops people have ever had. Tell us about
it.
>> ANNE: Our One Sauce is naturally good. It has all natural ingredients and it's kind
of an Asian flavor. It's kind of sweet and spicy. We use it for so many different things.
Today we are going to use it and all were going to do is pour some over these pork chops
that are almost done and they're in the juices smelling so good and so it's just pretty simple.
We're going to pour the sauce on them, turn them up a little bit and just let them soak
in that.
>> HENRY: Now you say it has a little bit of an Asian flavor, and now I've used this,
it's not like a normal barbeque sauce.
>> ANNE: That's right.
>> HENRY: It's got a little bit of a tangy flavor in it.
>> ANNE: It's got a tang. Actually, the sweetener in it is raisins so it's a little different
from what you ordinarily are thinking, but its excellent in so many dishes. A little
bit different from our traditional barbeque sauce here. Along with that today, we are
going to make my mammas lettuce slaw.
>> HENRY: I love lettuce slaw.
>> ANNE: It's so easy. All of that is cooking down. Take your lettuce, cut it in half and
just cut it very thin.
>> HENRY: Now is this your favorite thing to make with barbeque pork chops?
>> ANNE: Anything that's barbequed I like this rather than the cabbage.
>> HENRY: I do too. I am much more of a lettuce guy than a cabbage guy.
>> ANNE: I make both, but if I was eating by myself, this is what I would fix.
>> HENRY: Yeah, that looks outstanding. Are we getting that? Looks good. This is lettuce
slaw. Now what do you put in there?
>> ANNE: I am going to put bell peppers, onion, and then I make a dressing. This is a half
a cup of Miracle Whip, three tablespoons of vinegar, two tablespoons of sugar, a little
bit of celery seed and I mix it all up. Boy, these smell so good.
>> HENRY: And all of this is on the website?
>> ANNE: Absolutely.
>> HENRY: AnnesDumplings.com
>> ANNE: Now these pork chops are ready. That's all you have to do.
>> HENRY: Pretty simple. And you know...
>> ANNE: Now I just want a spoon to spoon what's in the bottom.
>> HENRY: Same principal if you want to cook them on the grill right?
>> ANNE: That's right.
>> HENRY: Very same principal.
>> ANNE: You want to add [the One Sauce] at the very last minute.
>> HENRY: Very good. Very good. What kind of dressing are you putting on there?
>> ANNE: This is on the website. Its miracle whip, vinegar, I use apple cider vinegar,
it has a little sugar in it, celery seed and just whip it up. And you do this at the last
minute because your lettuce will get wimpy and you don't want wimpy lettuce.
>> HENRY: No wimpy lettuce!
>> ANNE: No wimpy lettuce.
>> HENRY: If you don't like this meal, there is something wrong with you. I wish you could
smell these pork chops.
>> ANNE: You have your pork chops, your slaw, your bread.
>> HENRY: Beautiful bread right there.
>> ANNE: You don't need anything else.
>> HENRY: This is the perfect meal.
>> ANNE: That's Henry's plate!
>> HENRY: Can we eat now?
>> ANNE: How many Henry?
>> HENRY: How many are in there?
>> ANNE: Six.
>> HENRY: Give me five, save one for you.
[laughter]
>> HENRY: I could eat them, you don't know how much I love pork chops and those look
good. Alright, AnnesDumplings.com if you want the recipe, get some One Sauce.
>> ANNE: The One Sauce.
>> HENRY: If you haven't tried it yet, you will love it. The One Sauce from Anne's Dumplings.
Thank you Anne.
>> ANNE: Thank you.
>> HENRY: We'll see you next time cooking with Anne.
