JOE WILES: We're at the halfway point, number 41 on our top 80 most downloaded guitar tabs
on the internet. And in this segment, we're going to take a look at "Karma Police" by
Radiohead. Let's take a look. All right, there's a couple of chords that this whole pattern
centers around. We're going to discuss those chords now. The first one is an A minor chord.
It's an open A string, 2nd fret of the D string, 2nd fret of the G string, 1st fret of the
B string, and open high E string. The next chord is super easy. It's open E string, 2nd
fret A-string, 2nd fret D string, then, open, open, open on the high three strings. The
next one is a G major chord, 3rd fret on the low E string, 2nd fret on the A string, open
D, open G, open B, and then 3rd fret on the high E string. We're also going to want to
know an F major chord. We barred the whole 1st fret of the guitar, so it goes 1st fret,
3rd fret on the A string, pinky on the 3rd fret of the D string, middle finger on the
2nd fret of the G string, and the B and the E strings are both 1st fret. The other chord
we're going to want to know is a D chord, super easy. Open D string, 2nd fret G string,
3rd fret B string, and 3rd--excuse me, 2nd fret high E string. The other one we're going
to want to know is a C major chord. 3rd fret on the A string, 2nd fret on the D string,
open G, 1st fret on the B string, and high E string wide open. And the last one we're
going to want to know is your B minor chord. Bar the entire 2nd fret, so your A string
will be on the 2nd fret, the D string on the 4th fret, G string on the 4th fret, B string
on the 3rd fret, and high E string on the 2nd fret with that bar. With that series of
chords, we're going to through the song with a couple of transition notes, so if you have
to write all that down, make sure you do, but commit them to memory so as we go through
the chord sequence, the chord progression, we can get it right, okay? I'll see you in
the next segment, we're going to finish this off.
